I'm still drooling over the vegetarian Benedict. Casual atmosphere in a great location. They were very busy when we arrived but there was no wait and our food still came out quickly! My friend ordered two different flavored pancakes which both smelled delicious and our server was friendly and accommodating!

I always go for breakfast while waiting on my car when I take it in for service at Hyundai. Always great food and service!

Fantastic food. Amazing service. A great place to hang out!

I really enjoyed the pancakes here ! I came here twice and both times I was impressed by the food. I ordered the walnut pancakes and was impressed by how delicious it was ! They cook the ingredients into the pancake batter and donΓ’β¬β’t just cover a plain pancake with walnuts.

GREAT BREAKFAST. Highly recommend the 'Italian Jumbot' ...or the 'Pumpkin Pancakes'. This place was on "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives" a number of years ago. Short wait to be seated was well worth it! When in Pittsburgh... be sure to visit.

Had a delicious breakfast here. Could stand to have some more exciting interior decorating honestly......

Some of the best breakfast I have ever had! It's hard to select one thing on the menu because there are so many delicious options. A friend I was with got a stack of hotcakes, and they're the best I've ever had from a restaurant. This is a must have breakfast if you're in the Pittsburgh area!

Love this diner. Always great service!

The atmosphere about this place is probably my favorite part. My ham Benedict, although, seemed like it was just slopped together. Not the best I've ever had, and was definitely expecting something better based off of the great reputation of the place. Pancakes are great. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return and try something else.

After seeing this on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives I knew we had to visit! The jumbot did not disappoint! My friend ate every last bite. I had the oatmeal apple cinnamon pancakes that were delicious. I ordered a side of the home fries OΓ’β¬β’Brien. Awesome crispy home fries that hit the spot! We went on a Monday at 10am which according to the waitress is their busiest week day!

A bit crowded but very good food , cute tables , small bar stool section and friendly staff. Pretty cheap too. Parking is a challenge, if you can take public transit , I suggest you do.

Great food, fun atmosphere and service. Food hits your table pretty fast too!! Coffee was not the best but breakfasts and burgers have all been good. Get there early on the weekends if you want a seat! Tables go fast so make sure you have everybody with you when you get there, they won't hold a table for party members who are not there yet.All in all I think we'll be back in the near future!!

Hit the spot! This place is an amazing option in the area. Ninja speed service and nice employees. The food is delicious and they have a big menu. Excellent coffee and will definitely return. Nice homey feels.

Overall it is not bad except the fact that the waitress 'rushed' me to order.

We had very good service and the food was wonderful. It was fun visiting a Diners Drive Ins and Dives pick. We tried their raspberry french toast and it was wonderful! We tried a couple other things as well and everyone enjoyed their meal. A must stop if you are in the area

Ordered the banana chocolate chip pancakes and bacon. Pancakes were delicious and super filling. Couldn't even eat them all. Bacon was ok. Our waitress wasn't the friendliest but she was ok. Didn't tell us if pay was at the table or up front when she brought the check. Since we had never been here before, we just had to guess. The lemonade was just super sugared water, with a lemon dropped in top.

Best place in the area for breakfast, maybe even all of Pittsburgh (we have tried quite a lot). Almost always a line but they get you seated fast. Services are still personal and food is just awesome comfort breakfast food.

We love the food here! Plus all of the employees are super friendly.

This little diner was packed on a Sunday morning. It was recommended by a local who hadn't actually been but read a review and said it was featured on restaurant show. So our expectations were pretty high. My friend and I ordered the banana chocolate chip oatmeal pancakes and potato pancakes to share (because I can never decide to go sweet or savory for breakfast!) The potato pancakes were unremarkable: small, soggy, on the sweet side. The ham we ordered with them though was delicious. The oatmeal pancakes were perfect though and you get three huge, thick pancakes! I loved the hearty texture and I could even skip the syrup. My kids got French toast and feta burger raved about both. I wish the server had pointed out the specials menu though because our neighboring table ordered that and it looked amazing.

Food here was amazing. We stopped for breakfast and enjoyed it immensely. The coffee is also great.

Cozy local joint atmosphere with excellent hospitality. Hotcakes and french toast were great. The Guy's Version (Guy from Diners Drive Ins and Dives) scramble bowl had great flavor and a nice spicy kick.

My son and his girlfriend wanted to take me out for my birthday and I wanted to go some place different. Not your everyday chain restaurant. So I searched online and decided this place looked good. I've always thought about trying it since seeing it on Triple D. I wasn't disappointed. It has a down home cozy feel and the food was excellent. I had the Eggs Benedict. Yummy. The service was great. I want to go back and try the French toast which my husband had. I recommend it. Be prepared, you may have to pay for parking (meters) Γ’ΛΒΊ

Best place to get breakfast in Pittsburgh, speaking as someone who has lived here for years and lives for a good breakfast. Affordable, high quality, unique offerings.

This is a very cozy little place that offers delicious food made to order. Our server was very personable & helpful. There seems to always be a wait, but it's not too long, and is well worth it.

Best pancakes!! Try the bananas walnut, they're absolutely perfect... sweeter than you'd expect and really delicious!! Hubby loves Guy's jumbot, and the south of the border omelet never disappoints. There's almost always a line up, but it's worth it!

I've had this on my "to visit" list since seeing it on DDD. It didn't disappoint. We tried the raspberry french toast and chocolate chip pancakes. Portions were very generous and the food was delicious. Our server was just as friendly and attentive to us as she was to the regular customers whom they greeted by name. Worth the quick drive down Rt 19 from downtown.

Great breakfast and lunch food, generous servings with friendly staff and quick service! Love the French Toast as it seemed to just melt in my mouth. The Guy Fieri style Jumbot had a nice spicy kick. Irish Benedict had plenty of lean corned beef. Pumpkin and Banana Pancakes were delicious.
Travis West
Really busy but expected brunch. I had the Irish eggs Benedict and it was really good. Perfect spot as long as you have 5 or less people. Definitely going back for more!

Best pancakes in the Pittsburgh area. Only downfall of this place is that it's always busy so if your eating in the restaurant, be prepared to wait for a table to be open for you. This isn't a bad thing though so that's why I still gave 5p outta 5 Stars. Enjoy!!

Always a good breakfast at the Dor-Stop. A great selection of pancakes, french toast and omelets. Something to satisfy everyone's taste. Enjoy!

Ahhhh......amazing pancakes, the best I've ever had, await all comers to this quaint little dinette in Downtown Dormont. A must stop everytime I'm anywhere within 90 miles of the Burgh.

Great diner with good food. It's a very popular spot that often has a decent wait, but we got in right away today. The only downside was our food did take quite a bit longer than what I would expect for breakfast. Some of our food was not exactly hot, but all in all it was still delicious!
Nikki Stout
Small place but the food tasted amazing!

Food was pretty good which is why IΓ’β¬β’ll give them 3 stars. We came this weekend around 1PM ( they close at 2). Upon entering, a few of the employees at the front counter continuously rolled their eyes and we could see and hear them complaining about people coming in- including us and people after us. You could tell they were in a hurry to get out at closing. If you donΓ’β¬β’t want customers coming in after a certain time so you can leave right at 2, maybe donΓ’β¬β’t take customers after a certain time- or find employees who wonΓ’β¬β’t have such an attitude.

Solid diner food. Good service. Nice sunny space.

Great food, great service. Will definitely come back at some point on my way through here.

Their raspberry French toast is out of this world Γ°ΕΈΕΕ½ I would highly recommend it!

Stopped in here on a whim while waiting for my car to be serviced. Fantastic service, and the Irish Benedict was freaking amazing.

I love love love the dorstop. Great diner food, good fast service, delicious food. Highly recommend the breakfast burrito and any pancakes (my favorite are the pumpkin) but you seriously can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Cautionary note - the weekend brunch wait for a table can be rough. There's not much room inside to wait so you can easily get pushed out onto the curb.

Our friends that live in Dormont recommended this spot for our breakfast. We are from Texas so I was clueless on what would be a great place to eat, and we were not disappointed! My husband and I enjoyed a great meal at a great price and we were glad we were walking back to the house so we could walk off the calories!
